Campsite of the Year - South East England Winner

Dedication by the Smith family to provide high quality camping continues apace at this working farm set in attractive surroundings on the edge of the quiet village of Barns Green. There are three well-laid out touring areas; the original field has a mix of neat grass and spacious hardstanding pitches, and a small, newly refurbished toilet and shower block; the middle field continues to develop and includes camping pods and extra hardstandings; the lakeside area, which has a stunning modern toilet block, has excellent pitches on the banks of one of the well-stocked fishing lakes. Here you will also find perfectly located camping pods, a fully equipped safari tent, and four new shepherd’s huts, all enjoying private lakeside views. There are many cycle paths on site and the woodland bluebell walk has direct access to miles of footpaths. The brilliant Café by the Lake has proved so popular that it now has extensive lakeside seating, a posh safari tent with sofas and extra seating, and outside is a new barbecue hut. It’s licensed, and serves meals from breakfast onwards. Customer care takes high priority at Sumners Ponds – nothing is too much trouble for the Smith family. Horsham and Brighton are within easy reach.
