Drumroamin Farm Camping & Touring Site

Small Campsite of the Year Winner

Drumroamin Farm is tucked away down a mile-long single-track road in a particularly quiet and rural farmland location near Wigtown, and enjoys beautiful views across Wigtown Bay and the Galloway Hills. It is an open, spacious and peaceful site with excellent, modern facilities that are maintained in an exemplary manner by the dedicated owners; the site is ideal for all customers who wish to enjoy staying on a high quality site, whether they bring a caravan, a motorhome or a tent. There is a large, and separate, tent field with a well-equipped day room, while the touring pitches can easily accommodate rally events, and there is a secure storage area for bikes and boats. The recent addition of a sheltered camp kitchen has proved very popular especially in adverse weather, and a drive-through motorhome service point has also just been added. The RSPB’s Crook of Baldoon Reserve is located a 10-minute walk away and the area is renowned for its dark skies, making it the perfect spot for stargazing. Owners Lesley and Ralph Shell take great pride in making their customers’ experience the best it can be, so you can be assured of a warm welcome. There is a good bus service at the top of the road, which goes to Newton Stewart, Wigtown and Whithorn.
