2011-2012 AA Chefs’ Chef of the Year

Brothers Chris and Jeff Galvin received nationwide recognition last night when they were named AA Chefs’ Chef of the Year, sponsored by Caterer.com, at the AA Hospitality Awards 2011 – 2012, hosted by Sophie Raworth, at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

Chris and Jeff, who received their award in front of an audience of over 700 members of the hospitality industry, commented, “We are thrilled to be the Chefs’ Chef.  Winning this award means everything to us, firstly as it is voted for by our peers and secondly seeing the list of previous winners makes it easy to see how special it really is. We have had a long association with the AA, which we are very proud of and the award is one of the highlights of our careers.  Our team are thrilled for us and it is testament to their hard work and dedication.”

AA Hotel Services manager, Simon Numphud, said, “It’s not difficult to see why the Galvin brothers are so well respected in the industry. Committed, hard working, totally hands on, passionate about developing young people and above all very modest and humble.”
